College Town

The Area

Location

Situated in the Wasatch range in the Rocky Mountains, Utah Valley has one of the most beautiful views and backdrops. Known as the crossroads to the west, Utah Valley is just a short drive from five national parks, making it the perfect home base for exploring the state.

Geography

Utah County is located in North Central Utah. It is called Utah Valley because mountains frame the county on both sides. The major cities form a 40-mile chain from north to south (Santaquin to Lehi), aligning with Interstate 15.

Climate

Utah Valley has all four seasons with about 5 snow-free months. The climate is dry continental, with warm summers and cold winters. The temperature ranges from 39°F to 92°F. In mountain areas, expect the temperature to be about 20 degrees cooler.
