Spring is one of our favorite seasons in Utah. We love the warm sunshine and the plants starting to wake up with leaves and blossoms. Luckily, our kids get a few days off from school to enjoy the beginning of Spring.
There are lots of great destinations for Spring Break, but we really love Utah Valley. From hikes, to trampoline parks, to museums, to baby animals festivals, to picnics, there are so many amazing places to spend a few days exploring Utah County for Spring Break.
In fact, we came up with a list of over 120 ideas that are perfect during the spring! So start planning!
Hikes
Spring Hiking can be tricky. The unpredictable weather can bring snow to many trails, so prepare for any and all conditions. These trails are ones that should mostly clear for a hike during Spring.

Parks for Picnics
One adventure we love in the Spring is a nice picnic. We either make or purchase a simple lunch, pack up a blanket and a Frisbee, and head to a park for some sunshine. These are our favorite places for picnics.

Spend a day at BYU
There is so much to do on this beautiful campus. There are six free museums as well as a cute botany pond that you don’t want to miss in Spring.
You will definitely see baby ducks and turtles. Then make sure to grab a mint brownie or an ice cream cone at the BYU Creamery. Here are the stops we enjoy when visiting BYU.

Thanksgiving Point
Located in Lehi, Thanksgiving Point is amazing. There are a bunch of different venues for families, and in the Spring you will not want to skip the Tulip Festival. Ashton Gardens are full of gorgeous tulips and daffodils. If flowers aren’t your thing, then you can stop by one of their museums and see dinosaurs, butterflies, or curiosity play.
If you want to get the best bang for your buck, grab the Explorer Pass so you can visit any spot at Thanksgiving Point that day for one price. It’s a better deal than paying for each location individually.

90. The Grid: Pleasant Grove. Great for teens and older because you race go-karts on a two level track.
91. Provo Beach Resort: Provo: There are a ton of activities including ropes course, laser tag, mini golf, bowling, and the wave rider.
92. Escapes in Time: Orem. Love the different themed rooms at this spot.
93. Tempus Escapes: Provo. Escape from this boxcar escape room.
94. Escape Date: Pleasant Grove. You can solve the puzzles with as few as two people. Great for dates, or bring more and make it a family outing.
95. The Escape Key: Provo. Another great spot for escape rooms.
96. Rad Tag Laser Tag: Pleasant Grove. Lots of different laser tag games makes this venue really fun.

Baby Animals
Spring definitely means baby animals. This is one of the reasons we absolutely adore spring (baby animals and blossoms). It is so fun to find places to see baby animals. These farms have special baby animal days when you can snuggle them and feed some of their little critters!
