This is Utah’s largest holiday light experience: over 8 million lights across 50-acre gardens, themed zones including “Reindeer Woods,” large-scale display shows like “Fire & Ice,” and cozy stops for hot chocolate and firepits.
Plan for 1-2 hours, dress warmly, and pick a time-slot ahead of time as it’s timed entry.

How to Make the Most of Your Holiday Market Day

  • Pick two or three events in one afternoon/evening so you don’t feel rushed.

  • Bundle up early (especially for Luminaria or outdoor markets) and bring water/snacks for little ones.

  • Prioritize markets where the kids can pick one treat or item each so everyone feels involved.

  • For Luminaria: buy tickets ahead, choose a time-slot after dusk, and allow time for slower walking with young children.

  • Use markets to support local makers — many gifts you find here won’t be on big-box shelves.
