Communal is a restaurant that does things a bit differently. Their menu focuses on “Shared Plates” that allow multiple people to try parts of the dish, hence the name: “Communal.” 

Even if you don't plan on sharing your dish, their brunch dishes include some of the best eats in Provo! You can try their classic buttermilk pancakes, brioche French toast, or delicious Dutch baby. Or some of their savory brunch dishes are the croissant benedict, root and vegetable hash, or mountain burger.

Black Sheep is a southwestern, farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of downtown Provo. The restaurant has a wide variety of options from Navajo tacos to flatbread burgers. 

Starting off with their honey lavender fry bread or the black sheep wedge will set you up for any of the entrées. Sticking with the southwestern theme, you can also try their cinnamon-infused brownie or frybread and ice cream. Black Sheep is the best place to go for a casual and delicious lunch in downtown Provo.

For fine dining, head to Block Restaurant. Block serves modern and refined dishes with high-quality ingredients. Using locally sourced ingredients, the menu changes with the seasons so you can expect different options every 4-5 months. 

The restaurant has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere and is a great place for a fancy date or special occasion. According to some, Block has the best burger in all of Utah Valley, but some of their other entrées include house-made gnocchi and their New York Steak.

Koko Lunchbox is a counter-serve Asian restaurant. The restaurant is quick and casual and serves classic Korean dishes like bulgogi (thin, grilled beef) and kalbi (rib meat). Some favorite dishes come in a bowl with rice noodles, fresh vegetables, egg, and your choice of sauce. At a cheap price, you can try some of this unique authentic Korean cuisine.

For a classic and fancy French meal, head to Bistro Provenance. The restaurant is a sit-down French bistro with a great menu and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu has a wide variety of options including different salads, entrees, and desserts. 

Some favorite menu options include Filet de Boeuf, Duck a L’Orange, and Entrecote et Frites. Also offering a wide variety of different wines and delicious desserts, Bistro Provenance is the best French restaurant with a great menu and an elegant atmosphere.

With a purely Indian environment created by aroma, music, and intimate lighting, eating here provides you with a whole experience. Their most popular dishes include the Chicken Coconut Kurma and their Tikka Masala. This family-owned restaurant has some of the best Indian Food in Provo.

Taste Chocolate is unique from other desert places because half of the restaurant is a fully functioning chocolate factory. On Fridays, you can take a tour of the Chocolate factory, and become educated in the art of chocolate tasting. In the Taste Café, you can try Mousse, cake, brownies, and ice cream. You can also try some of the best chocolate drinks including a unique cacao tea made from roasted cacao beans.
