SUNDANCE, Utah -- Sundance Mountain Resort is pleased to host Author and Investigative Journalist, Katherine Eban, for its 2019 Author Series to discuss her book, Bottle of Lies: The Inside Story of the Generic Drug Boom. On Saturday, December 7, Eban will discuss the deceit behind generic-drug manufacturing and its attendant risks for global health.

Eban's writings are based on research from exclusive accounts from whistleblowers and regulators, as well as thousands of pages of confidential FDA documents. After an in-depth discussion of her book, audience members will have the opportunity to ask Eban their own burning questions and receive a signed copy of Bottle of Lies.

"The Sundance Author Series is about bringing writers to discuss a variety of timely issues to create a forum for ideas, inspiration, and activity," says Sundance Mountain Resort's Programs Director, Mari Turner. "At a time when so much is coming to light about pharmaceuticals and personal health, Ms. Eban's presentation couldn't be more relevant."

Katherine Eban is a Fortune Magazine contributor and Andrew Carnegie fellow. Her articles on pharmaceutical counterfeiting, gun trafficking, and coercive interrogations by the CIA have won international attention and numerous awards.
