Downtown Provo is your one stop spot for shopping, entertainment and food. Along Center Street you will find beautiful buildings built between 1880-1930 that have been carefully preserved over the years and are now home to various local shops, including over 70 locally owned restaurants that feature exotic foods with unique experiences. Among these restaurants is India Palace, a Best of State award winner and local favorite. Amrik Singh, owner and chef of India Palace, brings delicious Indian food to “the heart of Provo” with his traditional Indian cuisine. Its delicious cuisine and affordable prices make India Palace a restaurant the whole family will enjoy!

Moving from Northwestern India with his family to Utah County over 20 years ago, Amrik brought his passion for cooking along with his knowledge of fresh, authentic Indian food. He chose to own and operate a restaurant in Utah Valley because "good food invites good people" and the people in Utah County are so friendly they feel like family--a very large extended family. When first coming to Utah County people would often say to Amrik, “good to see you, friend”; today, it’s “good to see you, my brother.” Every family has to eat and, coming from a large family himself, Amrik knows a thing or two about creating large meals and satisfying appetites.

Amrik uses fresh ingredients with every dish and enjoys the time it takes to perfect the meal. While other restaurants use frozen ingredients, India Palace cooks everything from scratch. Amrik strives to give his customers a delicious and authentic experience with every visit. Their family-style buffet is perfect for big groups and large family gatherings for any occasion, including a family graduation, reunion, or wedding luncheon. When you visit, make sure to try some of the local favorites such as the chicken tikka masala, shrimp coconut korma, butter chicken and of course their cheese naan bread. Each dish is individually prepared to satisfy your tastebuds and they also have a variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes.

While feasting at India Palace, enjoy the beautiful Indian-themed decor. The artwork, including a massive wall mural, adds to the feeling of authenticity and will further enhance your experience with a welcoming atmosphere. Center Street or “International Center Street” is a place for families to get a taste of something different you might not expect, including at India Palace. Be sure to check out India Palace, or one of our other amazing local restaurants, the next time you explore Utah Valley.
