  • Overview
This museum is located in the heart of Payson at Pioneer Square. There is an authentic-looking log cabin right inside, completely furnished with pioneer relics. The museum houses a collection of pioneer artifacts dating back approximately 150 years.   Founded in 1901, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers states that the purpose of the organization is "to perpetuate the names and achievements of the men, women and children who were the pioneers in founding this commonwealth by preserving old landmarks, marking historical places, collecting artifacts and histories, establishing a library of historical matter and securing manuscripts, photographs, maps, and all such data as shall aid in perfecting a record of the Utah pioneers."     Come and step back in time as you see and experience what life was like as a Pioneer. Please call ahead to schedule a tour.
