So, here are my top five picks for the best brunch in Provo and Utah County — trust me, these are worth getting out of bed for!
5. Brunch House
Back to Top of List- Location: 1145 N 500 W, Provo, UT 84604
- Phone Number: (385) 223-8953
- Popular Menu Items: The Monte Cristo, Country Breakfast Skillet
Let me start by saying that Brunch House is a gem. Julio, the Uruguayan mastermind behind the restaurant, previously founded Asado Argentine Grill, and his Latin American flair shines through at Brunch House. The story of how Julio and his family moved from Burbank, California, to Utah is inspiring. After settling here in 2015, they opened Asado and, later, Brunch House in response to the need for a quality breakfast spot.
Located across from Intermountain Hospital in Provo, Brunch House serves up a delightful mix of breakfast and lunch dishes from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. My favorite dish? The Monte Cristo. French bread layered with sliced ham, scrambled eggs, Swiss cheese, battered and grilled to perfection, served with house-mixed berry jam and hash potatoes.
The Country Breakfast Skillet is another standout, featuring eggs any style over house potatoes, bacon, bell peppers, onions, and a mixture of cheese. Trust me, the freshness and flavors are unmatched!
4. Tru Religion
Back to Top of List- Location: 360 S State St Suite 158, Orem, UT 84058
- Phone Number: (801) 705-4425
- Popular Menu Items: TRU Signature Stuffed French Toast, Baja Ben "Addiction"
TRU Religion Pancake and Steakhouse in Orem is more than just a restaurant; it’s a community hub with a rich history and a heartwarming mission. Owners Jim and Debi Leany have created an atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and welcoming, complete with Art Deco furnishings from Salt Lake City's historic Lamb's Grill.
One of the most touching aspects of TRU Religion is their "Second Chances" program, which provides housing and employment to individuals facing life challenges. It’s a beautiful cause that you can support simply by rounding up your check.
As for the food, the TRU Signature Stuffed French Toast is a must-try. Thick-cut brioche, “baptized” in custard sauce, grilled, and filled with your choice of filling, topped with house whipped cream. Another highlight is the Baja Ben "Addiction," which features a biscuit topped with bacon, poached eggs, sliced avocado, and south-of-the-border Hollandaise sauce, served with hash browns and TRU-pico de Gallo. It’s as delicious as it sounds!
Almost every restaurant on this list has freshly squeezed orange juice, but I have to say that TruReligion is my favorite.
3. Locals Brunch (100% Gluten Free)
Back to Top of List- Location: 296 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84601
- Popular Menu Items: Chicken and Waffles, Gluten-Free Pancakes
Locals in Provo is a 100% gluten-free restaurant that took me by surprise. I don’t have celiac disease, and I don’t usually seek out gluten-free food, but the chicken and waffles here were spectacular. I wouldn’t have known the food was gluten-free if it hadn’t been mentioned!
The concept behind Locals is brilliant — a fresh, affordable, and locally-focused brunch experience. The restaurant caters to the Provo community’s love for great food and mindful spending while offering a 100% gluten-free menu. Whether or not you need gluten-free food, Locals’ dedication to quality and flavor makes it a top spot for brunch in Utah County.
2. Sidecar Cafe
Back to Top of List- Location: 1715 W 500 S, Springville, UT 84663
- Phone Number: (385) 278-0337

Tucked inside the Legends Motor Co Museum in Springville, Sidecar Cafe offers a unique dining experience that feels like stepping back in time. Surrounded by vintage motorcycles and memorabilia, this cafe serves some of the best breakfast and lunch dishes that will leave you craving a food nap afterward.
I couldn’t resist the Dutch Baby Pancake, cooked in a skillet and topped with house-made buttermilk syrup, fresh blueberries, and lemon. It’s served with your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage, making for a satisfying and comforting meal. If you’re looking for something lighter, the Organic Steel Cut Oatmeal with toasted almonds, fresh blueberries, and strawberries is a great option.
1. Block

Phone Number: (801) 885-7558 - Popular Menu Items: Brioche French Toast, House Made Biscuits and Gravy, Eggs Benedict
Block has long been a favorite among locals in Provo, and it’s easy to see why. This fine-dining, full-service restaurant focuses on creating dishes using sustainable, locally sourced ingredients while building lasting relationships with local farmers and artisans.
The menu changes with the seasons, but you can always count on Block to deliver a consistently delicious brunch. My top picks? The Brioche French Toast with fresh strawberries (or spiced apples in the fall), unicorn or maple syrup, maple cream, and shortbread cookie crumble is divine. The House Made Biscuits and Gravy and the Eggs Benedict, with ham, toasted English muffin, hollandaise, and a soft-poached egg, are also worth ordering again and again.
