Whether you're a lifelong local or a visitor planning your summer itinerary, here's everything you need to know to catch the best parades happening across Utah Valley in 2026.
Provo
America's Freedom Festival Children's Parade
When: June 27, 2026 starting at 10:30 AM
Where: 800 East Center Street to 100 East Center Street, Provo
Nearly 2,500 young participants take to the streets dressed in their patriotic best, marching alongside Provo and Timpview High School marching bands. Staging runs from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on a first-come, first-to-march basis, with the parade kicking off at 10:30 AM. Kids get grouped by categories and receive a treat at the end!
America's Freedom Festival Grand Parade
When: July 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM (Entertainment Parade begins at 8:00 AM)
Where: 1000 North University Avenue heading south to 200 South, Provo
The Freedom Festival Grand Parade is the largest parade of its kind in the Western United States, drawing over 350,000 spectators to downtown Provo every Independence Day. Expect professionally crafted floats, 15+ marching bands, military vehicles, equestrian units, giant helium character balloons, and tributes to military and first responders all along the iconic University Avenue route.
Pro tip: Spectators can claim spots along University Avenue starting at 3:00 PM on July 3rd. Bleacher seats are available for $10 each at the Freedom Festival office while supplies last.
Pleasant Grove

Strawberry Days Children's Parade
When: Week of June 15, 2026 starting at 7 pm
Where: Parade route begins on the east side of the pool on the high school parking lot, east onto 200 S, down 200 S to Locust, South on Locust and ends at the Rec Center (547 S Locust)
Led by the PGPD, PGFD, and Pleasant Grove Royalty, this beloved kickoff to Strawberry Days treats spectators to prizes and coupons handed out along the route. The fun wraps up at the PG Rec Center with popsicles, carnival tickets, and music.
Strawberry Days Grand Parade (Mammoth Parade)
When: Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Where: Begins at Pleasant Grove High School (700 E 200 S), travels west on 200 S to 100 E
Utah's longest continually running community celebration, first held in 1921, goes out with a bang every year on the final Saturday of Strawberry Days. Floats, marching bands, antique cars, equestrian entries, and community groups make their way through town under the 2026 theme "Stars, Stripes and Strawberries." Admission is free and the whole family is welcome!
Orem

OremFest Grand Parade
When: Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 7-9 PM.
Where: Begins at 800 S and 800 E, turns left onto Center Street, Orem
OremFest runs June 8 to 13, 2026 under the theme "Red, White, Blue and You," and its Grand Parade is one of the most anticipated nights. Colorful floats, marching bands, local performers, and community groups light up Center Street for a memorable evening celebration. Spot saving along the route is permitted after 9 AM on Friday, June 13th.
Vineyard Days Grand Parade
When: Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 7 pm
Where: Parade route currently TBD
Enjoy Vineyard Days by celebrating a parade through the city. Many businesses joining with floats, as well as anyone else who wants to join!
Lehi

Lehi Round-Up All Horse Parade
When: Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 6 PM
Where: Begins at Wines Park (600 North and 100 East), ends near the Rodeo Grounds (300 West Main), Lehi
True to its name, this parade is dedicated entirely to horses, with wagons, riding clubs, specialty entries, and royalty all making their way through town on horseback. It's a wonderful nod to Lehi's western heritage, and participants who ride in the parade earn free admission to that evening's rodeo.
Lehi Round-Up Grand Parade
When: June 27, 2026 at 10 AM
Where: Route from Wines Park to Lehi High School, Lehi
The Round-Up Grand Parade is the signature march-through-town moment of the week, featuring floats, bands, and community entries under the 2026 theme "Stars, Stripes, and Sparkles." Check the city's website for the confirmed parade date alongside the full schedule of Round-Up events.
American Fork

Steel Days Kids Parade
When: Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM
Where: Utah State Developmental Center, American Fork
A kickoff to Steel Days week, the Kids Parade is all about the little ones marching through the neighborhood in costume to show off their creativity and community pride.
Steel Days Grand Parade
When: Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 9:00 AM
Where: Begins at 300 West Main Street, heads east on Main Street to 100 East, American Fork
The Steel Days Grand Parade sends marching bands, community floats, equestrian entries, and vintage vehicles rolling through downtown American Fork. The rest of the day continues at Mary and Art Dye Park with live entertainment, food vendors, the Big Show, and fireworks at 10:00 PM.
Springville

Art City Days Kids Parade
When: Friday, June 12, 2026 at 9:30 AM
Where: The old Grant School (105 South 400 East) and kids will line up and parade around the block.
Kids of elementary school age and younger will have a chance to decorate their bikes, tricycles, scooters, big wheels, wagons and celebrate Art City Days at the TLC for Kids and Mountainland Head Start Children’s Parade. Admission is free! Everyone is encouraged to dress up and decorate your entry. Please, no motorized entries. TLC for Kids provides snow cones to all participants at the end of the parade! The Art Festival at the Museum will begin right after the parade at 10:00am.
Art City Days Grand Parade
When: Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Where: Begins at Buckley Avenue and 400 South, travels west then north on Main Street to 200 North, Springville
Voted one of the best parades in Utah County, the Art City Days Grand Parade features over 100 entries including marching bands, floats, antique vehicles, and equestrian units winding through downtown Springville. Blankets and chairs can be placed along the route 24 hours in advance, and the fun continues after with Springville's Balloon Fest, carnival, concerts, and fireworks finale.
Spanish Fork

Fiesta Days Grand Parade
When: Friday, July 24, 2026 at 9:00 AM
Where: Center Street and Main Street, Spanish Fork
The largest 24th of July parade in all of Utah County, the Fiesta Days Grand Parade features marching bands, floats, business entries, royalty courts, and community groups putting on a show for the whole city. The 2026 Grand Marshals are Dwight and Brenda Liddiard, longtime community servants who have given back to Spanish Fork for years. Fiesta Days also includes a week-long rodeo, carnival, concerts, a craft fair, and fireworks.
Payson
Golden Onion Days Civic Parade
When: Celebration scheduled from September 3-7, 2026. Have not released an official day yet.
Where: Downtown Payson
First held in 1929 as the Onion Harvest and Homecoming, this beloved celebration kicks off with a civic parade winding through downtown Payson. The broader festival includes a Children's Parade, 5K/10K races, a car show, carnival rides, pig wrestling, a Dutch Oven Cook-Off, live concerts, flower and art shows, fireworks, and the beloved Payson Treasure Hunt with a $3,000 grand prize. It's the perfect way to close out the summer!
Bonus: Utah Valley Parade of Homes
Utah Valley Parade of Homes
When: June 4 to 20, 2026, Tuesday through Saturday, Noon to 9 PM (closed Sundays and Mondays)
Where: Various locations throughout Utah County
Not a street parade, but a Utah Valley institution worth a spot on your summer list. Awarded Best Parade in the Nation, this annual showcase lets you tour stunning, beautifully designed new homes across the county. Tickets are $25 per person and include both in-person and virtual access through August 31, 2026 at uvparade.com. Children ages 3 and up require a ticket.
