Hours and Admission
The Museum of Ancient Life is the world’s largest dinosaur exhibit, housing 60 complete skeletal displays and an extensive display of original fossils. This world-class facility is a treasure of dinosaur history and education, taking visitors back in time to a prehistoric world.
The Museum of Ancient Life is not an ordinary museum because it provides a hands-on approach to
exhibits. There are 50 interactive, touch-and-feel displays. Guests have a sensory learning experience as they are invited to touch actual fossils and feel real dinosaur bones and eggs.
The Museum has designed the exhibits with expansive murals, soundtracks, plants, and streams to recreate a prehistoric environment and immerse visitors in the science of paleontology. The interactive aspect of the displays gives guests the opportunity to be part of the science.
Kids can build a sand valley complete with real eroding rivers at the Erosion Table, or discover fossils at the Fossil Dig. Western Paleontology operates a working paleontology lab in the Museum that visitors can observe as they tour the exhibits.
