Planes
With service from 10 airlines and their affiliates, Salt Lake International Airport gives you many options of who and when to travel with. Click here for more flight information.
Provo Airport also offers commercial flights through Allegiant Airlines. Check Allegiant's website for route information and flight availability.
Trains (& Other Public Transport)
The Utah Transit Authority provides local service throughout Utah County.
UTA's endorsed app for mobile planning, is called Transit App. This app is used around globe in over 200 cities, including those in Utah Valley. You can download the app by clicking here or going to your Apple or Google Play stores.
Travel Tips:
The total trip from Salt Lake City Airport to the Provo Marriott, using public transportation, takes around 1.5 - 2 hours.
For your entire trip from the SLC International Airport to Provo, you can expect the cost to be around $7.00. The only ticket you will need to buy is for Frontrunner, since the airport light rail and UVX bus are free.
If you have 4 people traveling together, you can get group pass for $15 that will work for UTA, Frontrunner and UVX. Less than $4.00 per person! Find out more here.

From: Salt Lake City Airport
To: Provo Marriott (101 W 100 N, Provo, UT 84601)
Day of travel:
- Go to the SLC Airport Light Rail (TRAX) system which is located at the south end of Terminal 1
- Buy your Frontrunner ticket at one of the kiosks
- What to select when buying your Frontrunner ticket:
- Frontrunner
- One Way
- Full fare (or reduced fare for senior citizen or disabled passengers)
- From: North Temple Boarding Station
- To: Provo Central (under additional stations)
- What to select when buying your Frontrunner ticket:
- Get on the Light Rail 704 Green Line
- Get off the Light Rail on the North Temple Bridge/Guadalupe Station
- Head to the west end of the station, across the train tracks, and take the escalator down to North Temple Station
- Take Southbound Frontrunner 750
- Get off at the Provo Station, the last stop going southbound
- Get onto UVX (Utah Valley Express) bus 830X
- Exit at the Center Street Station
- Walk .2 miles (5 minutes) to the Provo Marriott

Light Rail/TRAX Tips
The TRAX line is next to the exit of Terminal One.
If you’re flying Delta you’re in Terminal Two and you’ll need to make your way to Terminal One to take TRAX.
There are ticket machines to the right of the Terminal One double doors near the TRAX station.
Frontrunner Tips
Provo is South of Salt Lake.
Take the Frontrunner train going SOUTH. Check the signage before you board.
The Frontrunner has free wifi.

UVX Tips
Many popular destinations around the Provo/Orem area, are accessible using the UVX line. With buses running every 6-10 minutes, you'll reach your destination in good time.

For a more scenic travel route, consider Amtrak or Greyhound. Greyhound stops in both Provo and Spanish Fork, offering multiple access points to our beautiful valley. Hop on Amtrak's California Zephyr line and travel some of the most beautiful land in the country before you reach your final destination in Provo.
