  • Overview
Join us for a night of stories and folklore performed by professional storyteller, Janine E Nishiguchi. She is a diverse teller engaging audiences of all ages and has performed in many venues across the state. She loves the connections between generations stories can bring.  She is a past president of the Utah Storytelling Guild, on the Weber State Storytelling Festival Committee, and currently a children's librarian in Davis County. The night will start with games and treats as an open house in Rising Star Outreach's office at 6:30 pm. This is a time for you to learn more about our organization and the work we do to uplift individuals living with the effects of leprosy. At 7 pm, we will make our way down to the pond next to our office and settle in for an exciting night!   Please bring a picnic blanket or camping chair for a more comfortable seat. This event was planned with people of all ages in mind, so invite your friends and family to join us! We are so excited to see you there! Follow us on social media for any updates @risingstaroutreach and our Summer of STARS page @summerofstars_rso **This summer, you will have the chance to form a stronger connection with India and the amazing people who call it home! Summer of STARS is a series of events inspired by the students we support in India who come from leprosy-affected communities. All of these events are FREE and were created to empower and inspire those in our local community.**
