Housing in Utah: PBS Utah Book Film and Book Discussion

Participants should read the book Evicted and come to the event ready to talk about the book. Attendees will watch A Home of Their Own — a 30 minute documentary following families in Utah working towards finding housing.A discussion with representatives from the housing community as well as Shailey Ovard (featured in the film) to talk about her experience will follow the film. This is a great way to become an ally and learn more about the housing situation in Utah and the challenges families face to secure a home of their own.This is an online event and an RSVP is required.
