    Local theatre from the comfort of home! In this virtual festival, you can watch scenes from four local theatre companies. Each will confront social and racial issues and celebrate diversity.Experience local theatre from the comfort of home! This year, the 12th Annual Edward Lewis Theatre Festival will take place as a virtual event. Four local theatre companies will provide recorded scenes from larger productions. Each presentation will confront tough social and racial issues, celebrate diversity, and highlight the complexity of Salt Lake City's community.PERFORMANCES:People Productions will present a local-setting adaptation of Knuckle, by David Hare.The Salt Lake Acting Company will be present pieces and discussion from Four Women Talking About the Man Under the Sheet, by local playwright Elaine Jarvik. This production addresses two timely issues: racism and suffrage.Pygmalion Productions will present a scene from Catherine Filloux's politically-charged White Savior.Wasatch Theatre Company will present a scene from Teacher Truths, by local playwright James Martin.
