The big news this weekend is the Sri Sri Radha Temple Holi Festival in Spanish Fork. If you haven't been to this Festival of Colors, it is a must do! The Holi Fest or Color Festival as it's also known as, is an event that is typically celebrated India to welcome the arrival of Spring. This festival found its place in Utah with the building of the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, and has become the largest event of its kind outside of India. Also with the arrival of Spring comes outdoor sporting events. BYU will be holding their "Friday Night Lights" scrimmage on Friday night. Festivities start around 4:30 with the actual scrimmage starting at six. Tickets are free and going fast so get your pronto.

Races we've got going this weekend include Westlake's Thunder Run in Saratoga Springs, The Village Run 5 K hosted by Lakeridge Junior High and BYU's Splash and Dash Biathalon. The Thunder Run will combine with Saratoga Springs Easter Egg Hunt and all proceeds go to supporting Westlakes' marching band. The Village Run is a non-profit 5k, childrens carnival and silent auction that supports foster care awareness. So if you're looking for a run supporting a good cause, they've got you covered.
