This weekend there is a variety of spring activities happening around Utah County. Once such event is taking place tonight as part of the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival. Those with a love for music and dancing will not want to miss the Utah Swing Orchestra dance. This dance is back by popular demand and is the perfect Friday date night event. For those interested in a different type of outdoors spring event, Springville is kicking off the month with a Roll With the Mayor bike ride. This ride is being held to celebrate May as the National Bike Month. The ride starts at 10 AM on Saturday and participants are promised a lot of fun, food, and bike accessories.
Also being held this weekend is the Spring Sugar Craft Celebration in Provo. This event demonstrates different styles and techniques that can be used in artistically decorating cakes and other baked goods. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Provo Parks and Recreations Tina Heil.
