This weekend is a busy one for Utah Valley! On Saturday the Riverwoods will be putting on their annual Fire and Ice Festival from 4-8pm. The event is free and will have ice scuptures, ice fishing for the kids, live entertainment, fireworks and so many food options you'll be waddling home. Malawi's, Tucano's and Marley's Gourment Sliders? I'm sold!

Saturday will also be when the North Utah County Winter Festival will be held. While the lack of snow has caused the festival to cancel a few of it's activites i.e. the snowman building competition, there will be plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Come out for winter carnival games, face painting and loads of food. Disney's Frozen characters Anna and Elsa will be also be making an appearance. For those of you missing your wintery temperatures, register for the polar plunge. You're sure to get a shock of cold when jumping into this pool!

In keeping with the festival theme, BYU will be holding their Off the Map Festival Thursday through Saturday. The Off the Map Festival features musical and theatrical productions from around the world by professional companies. This year they're featuring jugglers from France, hip hop mixed with traditional Chinese art and a heartfelt play from New Zealand. If you need a dash of culture added to your day this is the perfect fix.

Other events going on this weekend include the Bridal Fair on Saturday at the Utah Valley Conventon Center, the 17th Annual Utah Dancesport Competitions on Friday and Saturday at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi and don't forget to see STOMP before it ends it's run at the Covey Center this weekend.
