With a drive for great dining experiences and local fresh ingredients, husband and wife duo Jared and Erin wanted to do more than run another generic restaurant: "When people come into MOZZ, we really want them to feel connected to everything we are doing here. We want them to know the food that we're making is made specifically for them–the experience we've created is for them." Along with having great pizza, they also serve fresh chocolate chip cookies and specialty taproot sodas.
Every wall, beam or tile illustrates the high-quality decor and welcoming atmosphere Mozz is known for. From the exposed brick to their hand-crafted wood-fired oven - all 22,222 tiles of it, Mozz fits in perfectly with downtown Provo’s local food and art scene. The front of the restaurant displays fresh basil in pots which are used in their daily ingredients as well as decoration. It’s easy to see that Jared and Erin have put a lot of hard work into not only the food they create but the historic space that surrounds it.
