It's that time of year again—time for the Holi Festival of Colors! The Spanish Fork festival is still the largest of all color festivals, with an average attendance of over 55,000 over two days. Come enjoy the fun with some great live bands and DJ's, dancers, yoga, Indian cuisine, and the color throw, of course. The first throw will be at 11 AM, followed by more color throws every hour until 8 PM.
The festival will take place this weekend, March 28th & 29th. Click here to register online, buy your colored chalk, or purchase a t-shirt. Keep in mind that colored chalk from outside sources is not allowed, and you must buy the chalk that Holi provides. You can also pick up tickets and colored chalk on the day of the festival on site, which is located at 311 W 8500 S, Spanish Fork, UT 84660.
The festival runs from 10 AM-8 PM both days, but keep in mind that parking is scarce and goes quickly. If you can't find parking at the Krishna Temple, another good option is to park at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, where you can take a shuttle straight to the Krishna Temple for just $2. Also, if you are coming from BYU, Bus 822 leaves from the Wilkinson Student center every hour on the hour. That route goes right to the temple. Normally the trip is 30 minutes but may take longer due to festival traffic.
