Guess what, Christmas is so close! Less than 12 days according to my advent calendar. Check out our list of 12 fun things to do during the holidays.

#1 Handbell Ringers at SMOA

The Springville Museum of Art is a great visit this time of year. The handbell ringers are always a highlight of music in the spirit of the holidays.

#2 Christmas Carol at the Hale Theater

Hale Theater is as classy as it gets. Treat yourself to the true spirit of Christmas with the Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol.

#3 Breakfast with Santa at Thanksgiving Point

No, it's not breakfast at Tiffany's, it's breakfast with Santa! Take the younger ones (and adventurous older ones) up to Thanksgiving Point to meet the big man himself.

 #4 Salem Pond Lights

This is a personal favorite of mine. The Salem pond lights are fun, free, and a great source of family pictures.

#5 Bar J Wranglers at UVU

We always tout our  friends at UVU. This year is a special performance by Bar J Wranglers for you lovers of country music and western humor.

#6 Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork

The festival of lights is as magical as it gets. Take the family down for an evening of looking at the lights and enjoying the wonders of the holidays.

#7 The First Christmas at SCERA

SCERA is another favorite theater. Enjoy the holidays with SCERA's rendition of The First Christmas.

#8 Nutcracker at the Covey Center

The Nutcracker is classic. The Covey Center always does a great job with their productions, and The Nutcracker is a fun way to enjoy the arts this time of year.

#9 Farley Family X-Mas at UVU

Farley Family X-Mas is both fun and funny. I'm talking tears in your eyes funny.

 #10 Hot Lava at Sodalicious

Sodalicious is a recently opened local gem. The hot lava is a delicious drink that puts hot chocolate to shame.

#11 Skiing & Night Owling at Sundance

Sundance is a local favorite around the holidays. They offer everything from skiiing to "owling." Sundance is great for the adventurous.

#12 Meet Santa at University Mall

That's right, Santa!!! Again! University Mall is conveniently close with enough stores to keep you occupied probably until Christmas. Go greet Santa and get some of your Christmas shopping in all at once.
