Since the United States is a melting pot of cultures, American food can include a variety of things, so we have a long list of amazing restaurants in Utah Valley to try. We included all the classics from burgers to  BBQ to sandwiches, and even added a few culturally American things, such as Southern food and Native American cuisine. And yes, we even included pizza because the restaurants listed put their own American spin on each one!

North Valley

• Six Sisters Deli in Eagle Mountain

• Village Pizza in Eagle Mountain
  • A favorite among locals, this pizza place is tasty and for lunch they offer a buffet, so you can eat to your heart's content!

• Chubby's in Saratoga Springs & Pleasant Grove
  • If you're from Utah Valley, you've been to or at least heard of Chubby's! They claim to make the best burgers in the valley, and we won't argue with that!
• Sean's Smokehouse BBQ & Grill in Saratoga Springs
  • All of their sides are made from scratch everyday! But don't stop there--they all pair perfectly with the drool-worthy meat, such as ribs and brisket!

• SLAB Pizza in Lehi & Provo
  • Choose between Premium, Super Premium, or Super Duper Premium at this popular pizza spot! They have something for everyone, including gluten-free!
• One Man Band in Lehi & Spanish Fork
  • Craving breakfast foods? Stop by here any time of the day to get your fix of scones and honey butter or pancakes and omelettes!
• Rocky Mountain Wingshak in American Fork
  • With 15 different sauces for your wings, this place is definitely the best wing spot in the valley! Get your wings buffalo style, sweet style, or sour style.
• Tangie's Cafe in American Fork
  • This iconic American Fork cafe serves up some amazing breakfast! Order their massive pancakes or scones or plates full of cheesy eggs and bacon!
• Firebird Pizza & Pasta in Pleasant Grove
  • At Firebird's, they let you be a part of the cooking process--you can build your own pizza and pasta! This is a tasty place to eat at for a girls' night out!

• Purple Turtle in Pleasant Grove
  • For over 50 years, this place has been making locals smile with its delicious burgers, tater tots and fry sauce, and, most of all, their amazing shakes!
• Paul's Place Sandwich Shop in Pleasant Grove
  • The small-town feel of this place draws people in and keeps them coming. While there, try their reuben or grilled cheese!
• The Holy Grill in Pleasant Grove
  • With award-winning BBQ, this Pleasant Grove favorite is a must-stop for any and all meat lovers. Their brisket and pulled pork are especially scrumptious!

Central Valley

• Foundry Grill at Sundance
  • This fine dining restaurant provides those in the mountains an exquisite culinary experience. Dine outside and try the filet mignon or a bison burger!
• The Tree Room at Sundance
  • Make your way up to the mountains for an amazing fine dining experience here. Some choice food options include pepper steak, sirloin steak, and crab.

• Communal in Provo 
  • Communal is a fine dining place where you can eat around a large table with all your friends and family, "Sunday dinner" style. Come for brunch or dinner! 
• DP Cheesesteaks in Provo, American Fork, & Lehi
  • This is one of the only places in Utah that has authentic Philly cheesesteaks! If you are ever craving one or want to try one for the first time, go here!

• Sensuous Sandwich in Provo

• Molly's in Provo

  • This place sounds like it shouldn't be labeled "American food," but the menu is so diverse, from Asian to Mexican tacos, that it won't fit in any other category!

• Black Sheep Cafe in Provo
  • This unique restaurant serves some of the best Native American cuisine in Utah. Try their Navajo tacos or their burgers with a twist!

  • As one of the best fine dining experiences in Utah Valley, this restaurant will please your taste buds, as well as elevate your soul.
• Joe's Cafe in Orem
  • When you eat at Joe's, you don't just get great food (especially the Southern breakfast!), but you also get Southern hospitality from the sweet owner, Joe!

• Bam Bam's BBQ in Orem
  • Come and enjoy some of the best BBQ in town! They cater, they have a food truck, and they sell merchandise with their logo!

South Valley

• Zubs Pizza & Subs in Springville
  • This is the best sandwich and pizza spot in Springville and they conveniently cater, too! When you visit, ask them how they got their name!
• Art City Trolley in Springville
  • After re-purposing an abandoned trolley car, a local family created a restaurant in "Art City," serving up the best chicken sandwiches and wings in Utah Valley!

• Strap Tank Brewery in Springville
  • This place has a really cool vibe to it. They are known for their craft beers, but the atmosphere and the variety of food are outstanding, too!
• Magleby's in Springville
  • With award-winning chocolate cake, you won't want to skip dessert at this fine dining restaurant! For your entree, we recommend the prime rib or salmon!
• Glade's Drive Inn in Spanish Fork
  • This is a fun, local burger joint with a really friendly staff. The food is really good, and the shakes are amazing!

• Barry's Parkview Drive-In in Spanish Fork
  • More than just burgers, Barry's also offers famous footlong hotdogs, cut in half, grilled, and placed in a grilled bun. Finish up with a dipped ice cream cone!
• Little Acorn in Spanish Fork
  • Order a burger or sandwich with wholesome homemade bread and a milkshake. For a healthier route, try one of Little Acorn's fresh fruit shakes.  
• Two Jack's Pizza in Spanish Fork, Provo, & Springville
  • Call ahead, walk right in, or order delivery at this popular pizza joint. They also serve a tasty and filling lasagna and amazing cheese sticks!

• Dalton's Steakhouse in Payson 
  • The daily specials here will keep you coming back for more! The best steak on this side of Utah Lake is served here, along with delicious soups and custom burgers.
• Santa Queen Drive-In in Santaquin
  • Santa Queen has all of the classics under one roof: burgers, fries, fish and chips, and sandwiches. Make sure you also try a yummy shake!
• Hot Rod Diner in Santaquin
  • Stepping into this diner is like stepping back into the 50s! The atmosphere is fun and family-friendly and the homestyle food is up to par!
