Timpanogos Cave National Monument is one of the natural wonders of Utah Valley and one of the best family attractions in Utah! Visiting the cave opens adventurers up to a world of darkness, exotic rock features, and bats!

The cave can only be visited by booking a tour. Tickets to enter the cave cost $12 per person and must be bought in advance online. The tours usually fill up a month in advance on weekends and holidays, so plan accordingly.

When planning a trip to the cave, be sure to pack lots of water as there is a steep, hike up to the cave that is mostly exposed to the sun. However, visitors should also bring a jacket because the caves are constantly at no more than 45 degrees. Plan to spend at least four hours in total at the cave, including the hike to and from it and the cave tour itself.

Timpanogos Cave National Monument has also received a brand new visitors center, replacing one that was in place for several decades. The new visitors center has more parking, an architectural look that complements the surrounding mountains, and some of the only flushing toilets along this part of the Alpine Loop! To celebrate its brand new opening, we are offering a giveaway for four tickets for a cave tour!

Enter the giveaway below for a chance to win 4 tickets for a cave tour on an August date of your choosing*! The giveaway ends and the winner will be announced and emailed on July 8th!

*Please note that the winner of the tickets must schedule the tour with a Timpanogos Cave National Monument employee in advance. Do not wait until Labor Day to schedule your tour or they will all be sold out.
