Choose from four trail rides that are available:
Elk Meadows trail ride is recommended for first-time horseback riders and children and lasts approximately one hour.
Stewart Falls trail ride is the most popular ride and has been voted number one by all guests who have ridden other places world-wide. It goes through a forest with views of the Wasatch Mountains and Mount Timpanogos. It is suitable for most riders and lasts approximately two hours.
Sunset trail ride is a popular evening ride for wildlife lovers. Riders might catch a glimpse of elk, deer, or moose on this two-hour ride.
Great Western trail ride goes through open meadows and aspen forests to Horse Flat. It is recommended for only those with previous riding experience and lasts approximately four hours.
Rides are conducted by Rocky Mountain Outfitters, their preferred horseback riding vendor. They don’t believe in long lines or boring nose-to-tail rides so they only offer private rides of no more than 6 people to ensure the ride is exciting for all those who participate. Rides begin with a 10-15 minute arena lesson so the riders can get familiar with the horses before beginning to travel.
