Nothing can be more stressful than being in a new place, and not having the slightest clue where to turn or how to get to where you need to be. Here is some information about getting here and there in Utah Valley.
Utah Valley communities are located in a string along I-15, starting just south of Salt Lake City.
Salt Lake International Airport:
Salt Lake International Airport is located 35 miles north of Utah Valley. It is also Delta Airlines' second largest hub, where residents from 90 major cities enjoy non-stop service from Salt Lake City with over 700 daily flights.
Ground transportation desks are conveniently located at the baggage claim of both terminals, where arrangements can be made for taxi, limousine, or shuttle service to Utah Valley. National rental car companies available at the airport include Alamo, Budget, Enterprise, Dollar, Hertz, and National.
The easiest way to move from city to city is by car. The majority of streets in each city are numbered according to a simple grid system, usually centered at the intersection of major thoroughfares such as Center and State. From there, the street numbers increase by 100 in all directions, such as 200 South, 500 North, 700 West, and so on. Exits to major attractions are easily accessible off I-15.
The Utah Transit Authority bus system runs several routes in and between all major cities. (801-743-3882)
