Provo City and Frontier Airlines have announced the first commercial flight from the Provo Municipal Airport to commence June 21, 2011! One flight a day to and from Denver, CO will be the first in a possible many more. Please encourage friends, family and colleagues where possible to use this flight.

Planning a Family or Group Reunion
Summer 2011

Planning a group gathering or family reunion? The Utah Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide free personal planning and assistance in arranging group itineraries, activities and accommodations. Utah Valley has a wide and unique range of event venues to hold your group or family reunion in, including Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort, Thanksgiving Point, and the Utah Valley Convention Center (opening Spring 2012).

A Day at Thanksgiving Point
May 21

The UVU Auto Expo is among the largest car shows in Utah and features local car/motorcycle clubs as well as unique private collections. Also on May 21 at Thanksgiving Point's Farm Country is the Lamb and Wool Festival. This Festival includes demonstrations of the sheep shearing process as well as hands-on wool crafts, food, and other family friendly activities. A whole day of fun!

Spanish Fork's Wild West Days
June 3-4

Come enjoy an evening full of action! Spanish Fork's Wild West Days and Great American Wild West Show. Events include sheep herding trials, pig races, trick riders and ropers, daring cowboys and cowgirls, etc  Come dressed in Western attire to be entered to win a daily prize. Utah Lake Festival
June 4

Utah Lake Festival is an opportunity to enjoy the lake, learn about its many recreational opportunities and about the lake's ecosystem. The festival will include fishing clinics, children's activities, educational booths, food, and sailing demonstrations. Also, June 4 is free fishing day, so bring your poles!

Scenic Drives
July 17

Some of the most beautiful mountain vistas, red rock formations and gray sand stone cliffs can be seen on paved roads from the comfort of your own car or motorcycle. Popular drives in Utah Valley are the Alpine Loop Scenic Backway and the Nebo Loop National  Scenic Byway. These roads are usually accessible starting Memorial weekend, depending on weather.
