Sundance Summer Theatre
July 29-August 20
Sundance presents "The Sound of Music," one of the most popular musicals ever produced by Rodgers and Hammerstein. Many of the songs from the play have become classics, including "My Favorite Things," "Edelweiss," "Climb Every Mountain," "Do Ri Me," and of course "The Sound of Music." The play takes place at the Sundance Outdoor Amphitheater.

Two-Buck Tuesdays
August
Two-Buck Tuesdays are your chance to experience Thanksgiving Point for just $2 per guest, per venue. So, for every Tuesday in August, you can visit the Museum of Ancient Life, Thanksgiving Point Gardens, or Farm Country. Or all three. Bring the family, bring the neighbors, but make sure you don’t miss the chance to experience Thanksgiving Point.

BYU Education Week
August 15-19
Every August more than 1,000 classes on education, religion, marriage, family relations, health, history, and many other areas are taught at Brigham Young University’s Education Week. This year’s theme is “That All May Be Edified”.  There are entertainment opportunities at night.

Timpanogos Storytelling Festival

Come to one of the largest storytelling festivals in the world with over 27,000 attendees. Some of the nation's best known storytellers unite with other tellers, both young and old, to celebrate the art of storytelling with music, entertainment and enchanting tales.

Payson Onion Days
September 2-3, 5
One of the biggest labor day celebrations in the state on Labor Day. Payson Onion Days offers an old fashioned carnival, craft vendors, entertainment, a parade on Labor Day, and even a pig wrestling contest, etc.

Festival Latinoamericano
September 2-3, 5
Come and celebrate community and culture at Festival Latinoamericano! For three days, this festival will showcase rhythms, vibrant dances, delicious food, and colorful costumes that will transport you to a Latin getaway in the heart of downtown Provo.

All Year Round
Utah Valley has some of the largest festivals in the West. Summer may almost be over, but there is still a lot of local city festivals and celebrations in August, including Payson Salmon  Supper, Lindon Days, Highland Fling, Utah County Fair, etc. Make plans to enjoy all the activities, concerts, craft fairs, and fireworks!
