Olympic Anniversary Celebration
February 10
The Peaks Ice Arena, a 2002 Olympic venue, will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2002 Winter Olympics. There will be a special presentation by Provo Mayor John Curtis and former CFO/COO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics, Fraser Bullock, at 8 p.m. An Olympic torch will be lit and displayed at center ice during the public skating session.

Based on the 1980’s film starring Olivia Newton-John, this show follows Sonny, a sidewalk chalk artist who fails miserably. He decides he’s lost his gift and his reason to live. But Clio descends in the disguise of a roller-skating, Australian-accented, leg-wearing, muse to rekindle Sonny’s love of art and love of life. A musical hit direct from Broadway.

Eat Like a Viking
February 25
Eat like a Viking! Enjoy some authentic Icelandic culture. Join the Icelandic Association of Utah in celebrating Thorroblót 2012. Thorroblót is Icelands annual end-of winter-solstice feast. Traditional celebration includes Icelandic food, traditional festivities of Barnakór (Children's Choir), quilt auction, and door prize.

U.S. DanceSport Championships
March 7-10
This is among the largest amateur ballroom dance events in the country, with over 12,000 spectators. Dancers from kindergarten age on up are invited to participate. The championship is divided into six categories, with national amateur titles awarded in Latin, standard, smooth, rhythm, cabaret and formation in all age groups.

53rd Annual Spring Parade of Gems
March 16-18
The Timpanogos Gem & Mineral Society will be hosting this year's annual rock show. Come see what can be made with rocks and gems. The show includes displays, jewelry, door prizes, a rock sale, and demonstrations as well as Mr. Bones, the life-size walking T-Rex skeleton (Friday and Saturday only).
